EA, Uber and Facebook Feature in the List of Most Hated Companies in the US

A video of the company'south erstwhile CEO Travis Kalanick berating an Uber driver also went viral, prompting him to make a public amends. The company was also at the receiving end of several lawsuits in 2017, including one filed by Alphabet for declared theft of intellectual property. As a result, the company took the 14th spot on the list of the most hated companies in the US.
One of the world's largest social media platforms, Facebook, was also featured on the list. The company was scrutinized by lawmakers and media outlets for the role it played in spreading fake ads and news which allegedly contradistinct the result of the 2016 presidential elections. Facebook'southward chief security officer revealed that the company received $100,000 for ads continued to 470 fake Facebook pages that were allegedly operated out of Russian federation.
